What if your GCSE grades are not meeting up the requirements set by UK universities?

How to become an underwater archeologist?

  • I want to be an underwater archeologist when I am older the type where you do expeditions to famous shipwrecks such as Titanic I am 14 at the moment and have just taken my GCSE options we could choose 3 and I chose history geography and ICT as well as the compulsory English Maths and I am doing 3 sciences chemistry biology and physics. Is this a good choice and what grades do I need to achieve to get this career. Also what would I need to take for my A levels. And which UK universities offer degrees in underwater archeology and what grade do I need to get in them. I reckon I have what it takes as I am in top set/group for English Maths Science and French everything except lessons that we don't have sets for and I am in set 2 for PE/sport. Although I am not taking French for my GCSE's. Please give as much feedback as possible as I need help. Thanks

  • Answer:

You would be hard pressed to find that exact course therefore you will need an archeology course and then get licenced as a scuba diver and later you will train on underwater craft.

You're thinking to far ahead. Right now you should focus on getting a job. When I was your age I was hung up on topics like this and it was a mistake.
