My nose is always stuffed up?

My nose is always stuffed/clogged?

• Ok, i've had sever allergies ever since i was a child. But now that i'm a bit older it's starting to really annoy me. My nose is always stuffed up, and most of the time i can't even taste anything which is the thing that MOST bothers me. I'll have to blow my nose to taste something, but that only helps for 10 seconds at the most. I've tried a bunch of prescription and over the counter medicines and nasal sprays, decongestants, sinus allergy reliefs, etc. and i'm pretty much at my wits end on what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Two things... 1. Ask about having surgery - my sister did, and it has worked like a charm. The short version is, they pretty much go into your nose, and scrape out all the extra tissue - it's not painful bc you're asleep. It's also not permanent. She has to have it done about every 7 years or so. 2. Go to a real allergy specialist. I was allergic to a couple of weird things that I kept accidentally eating (bananas, etc.) I had this big allergy test done, started taking shots, total magic.
