    "Choosing a quote"? Why do you only have to choose one? My personal favourites are 1), 7) and 10). @Caitlyn, there are plenty of things to be patient about in skating. It takes lots of patience to repeat elements over and over again, and of course there is the fact to learn that good skating isn't going to come overnight.

The falling is learning one. 4) sounds really obnoxious and stuck-up. 9) is incorrect if only because archers aren't "agile". Eagle-eyed, maybe, but not agile. Please know the meanings of words before you use them. EDIT: @Caitlyn: Yes, I did. I'm very cranky that I lost my old one. Clearly one too many people didn't like hearing the truth.

1 sounds weird the way you worded it. I've heard it as "If you're not falling, you're not trying hard enough" because "learning hard enough" doesn't really make sense. 2 is totally correct- a friend from skating and I were talking at lunch about skating one day, and she was telling me what her freeskate program has in it, and my other friends were listening, and they hear words like "flying camel spin, double flip, shoot the duck, death drop, double salchow, Ina Bauer" and so on, and their faces were priceless. 3 sounds weird. You can't live loudly.... 4 is stuck up, like "you have no life if you're not a figure skater". 5 is just a quote that only works written out, if you say it to someone it doesn't make sense. 6 is just eh. True, but not my favorite quote. 7 should be 1000 times, not 100. 100 is nothing. 8 is one of my favorites. 9 is incorrect. What do you have to be patient for in figure skating? And archers aren't agile, know what you're talking about before you make up quotes. I've seen that quote before, but worded differently, and in a way that makes sense. 10 is one of my favorites as well. @K Did you have to make a new account?
