Local 3DS repair? (don't want 3DS to get lost if sent to Nintendo)?

So I want to repair my 3DS and had the papers and stuff for shipping my 3DS to Nintendo. I was reluctant to send my 3DS cause I was afraid that it might get lost. Do you know any places in Oregon where I could go and ask for a repair?

Answer:
You should really go thru nintendo, that way it's official and wouldn't void the warranty. I sent in things to nintendo and others and never had a problems. If you do every thing the it says you wouldn't have any problems.
