How do i put my own song on a YouTube vid?

Can Someone Help Me Pick Out a Song for This Scene & How Do I use YouTube?

• Hi! I went to Austin, TX for vacation recently & took pics of the scenery (River, people kayaking, the Congress Ave. Bridge, Pedestrain Bridge, etc.) & I want to put some music w/ it, but I don't know what to choose. The problem is my Video of Pics (you know how people use a Collage of pics in their YouTube Vid) is Only 2:48 mins. I tried Extending the mins. like if the default is 4 mins. then I adjusted All the pics to 4:20, but still doesn't work. Plus, my other ques. is that I know or seen people use Graphics when a song is beginning which looks like it would help the Vid fit with the amount of mins. of the duration of the song. So, 1) Could Anyone Suggest what Song I can choose w/ these Scenes? 2) What Should I do about Or How Can I Fit the Vid to the Song that you suggested? 3) How Do you do the Graphics on YouTube (like put the subtitle of the Vid w/ the Band/Artist that you're giving Credit to)? LASTLY, I know that it's VERY IMPORTANT to follow the Copyright issue when using a Band/Artist for your Vid So, 4) How do I do that? That is, How do I give the Band/Artist Copyright (what are the steps that I need to take)? Please let me know - I'm really anxious to put this on YouTube. Any suggestions would help.
