Name change questions?

WHY WON'T MY NAME CHANGE, AND WHY CANT I DELETE MY QUESTIONS?

• Yahoo should let me delete my questions if I want. Also, my name is my email, I need this to change, privacy and such. Why can't I change it? I've changed it on here and on my pulse account and it still won't change? Why is this!?

  Once you change a name or avatar, it can take 24 hours to show. Don't keep trying, that just resets the time. As for deleting questions, the purpose of YA is to create a database of questions and you agreed to these terms when you signed up. If the question is open, you can delete it through the edit function (little pencil icon next to the question when you open it). If in voting or resolved, the question belongs to Yahoo and not you. Therefore you can not delete them. You sometimes can get the team to delete one, maybe two if you ask very nicely, with pretty please, and give a good reason, such as you put your phone number in it. But it may take a while and they will not always do it. Write them at [email protected]
