Un-Jailbreak iPod Touch?

  • I recently Jailbroke my 2nd gen iPod Touch, and the device's performance took a HARD hit. It takes nearly 4 times as long to do stuff as it did before. Now here's the kicker: I looked up how to undo the jailbreak, and they all say to click "Restore" in iTunes. Thing is, I recently got a new computer, so NONE of my music or apps are on this computer, and so it's going to remove EVERYTHING from my iTouch. My question is: How do I get the apps and music from the iTouch onto the computer?

    The apps are gone. There are no way for you to save the apps if you want to do a restore. for the music there are program that let you download music from ipod without itune. Just go online and search for "transfer ipod music without itune" after you transfer song to your ituen just hit restore and you will unjailbreak your ipod

Sync your iPod with your new computer. It should put all of your apps and music into iTunes. Then you will be able to restore it. If that doesn't work, try to locate your hard drive from your old computer. All of your iTunes music will be saved in there (if you bought it legally). If none of these solutions work give Apple customer service a call at 1-800-676-2775.
