Does anyone know of any home remedies to treat pressure of the ear brought on by allergies?
-
Haven't been able to hear fully out of my right ear for about five days now, the ear isn't painful just bothersome. I've been popping Mucinex DM around the clock for the last 3 days, with no results. Any HELPFUL suggestions on how to relieve this pressure would be greatly appreciated!

Answer:
This works most of the time to relieve the pressure in the ear canal, buy nose drops, not nose spray. Usually in a 1% form like Neo-Synepherine or a generic version. Instill the drops in the nostrils with head tilted back while laying down flat. Give the drops a minute or two to travel from the nose back into the ear canal. You can do this every 4-6 hours up to 2-3 days. Ear should pop open by then.
