What is the deal with the new Civil War on Marvel?

What are the big Marvel events after Civil War?

• I have decided that, since the Civil War ended a few years ago and that was a major turning point in the Universe I should start there. What I mean big event is a thing that totally changes the Marvel Universe, like Civil War did. I am 15 and fairly new to comics, so I was wondering if you could help me. So,starting with the Civil War, where should my path of reading be? And presumably have it lead to present day, because I am currently reading Amazing SpiderMan and Invincible Iron Man.

  Secret Invasion - There's the main book and tie-ins. You have to read the main book to understand everything, of course... as for other tie ins- I don't know, I liked Deadpool, and most of the tie ins were good... so choose yourself. Dark Reign - It wasn't as much as an event as it was a whole year of a revamp in the Marvel U. You should read Dark Avengers, Secret Warriors, Reading Thor wouldn't harm... and the rest, again, is up to you. Keep in mind all the titles suddenly got Dark. Daken took over the Wolverine title, Moonstone took over the Ms. Marvel title, Mighty Avengers became Jerks, the Initiative turned into a school for Osborn's army, etc. Siege - again, there's the main book, and I also recommend the one-shot "Siege: Loki". As far as tie in go, Thor was good, and Dark Avengers is essential. Fear Itself - Main event book and tie ins. This event, IMO, was horrible and most of its tie-ins are horrible too. The only tie-in that elevates this is Journey into the Mystery, which was amazing. Other good tie-in is Avengers Academy. and now Avengers vs. X-Men. It's too early to tell with this one.
