What singer has the best falsetto?

How can I singer very very high? Without using falsetto?

  • I am a sixteen year old MtF (transexual male to female) and I want to become a singer. I can sing with a female voice but I don't have the wide range I'd like to have. I can't afford lessons and I can't join choirs :( what can I do to sing high notes (like an A2, G#5 for example)? What can I do to have at least a 3 octaves vocal range?

  • Answer:

Since you're 16, your voice has already changed, meaning your larynx has enlarged, and your vocal folds have thickened. This makes it difficult to impossible for males to hit high notes in head voice. If you can't do it now, you probably won't be able to do it even with training. You'll always break to falsetto somewhere between middle C and high C. With constant practice, you might be able to extend your head voice 3-4 notes. Your best bet is probably to try and make your falsetto voice sound more feminine. Sorry. I know it sucks. I used to sing male tenor, and enjoyed it, but it's hard for me to find many songs that are sung by females that don't use soprano range.
