Is this normal when muscles twitches all over my body?

When your body uses your muscles for energy when you don't get enough food are those muscles gone forever?

  • lol I didn't know how else to phrase this question but when a human's body or an animals body uses it's muscles for energy will the body 're-make' the muscles when it can get food again? I was wondering because I was watching this documentary on lions and there was this lion who couldn't get enough food and it's body was using it's muscles to sustain itself. Thanks in advance! :)

  • Answer:

to put is simply, yes. Your body uses the types of food/energy in certain levels of availability. It prefers sugars first, then fats, then when the body has used up all fats it will then use muscle for energy. If you get to that point of muscle wasting you are in bad shape and it will take a lot of time to regain the muscle. I hope this helps and gives some clue.

I'm not sure but I don't think it actually uses its muscles just something in them that can rejuvenated after getting enough food to survive
