Can I use Ethernet with my wireless printer?
-
I have a Canon MX410 Wireless printer. However, I also built a desktop computer that doesn't have built-in wifi. With that being said, I use ethernet to gain access to the internet. I'm curious to know if I can install printer software and drivers onto my desktop, and use that printer wirelessly even though I'm connected straight to my router. The printer however is connected to my router wirelessly, not connected via ethernet. In a nutshell, would I be able to print from my desktop (which has no build in wifi) wirelessly? Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say, but if not, I'll add some additional details.

Answer:
Hello, Yes. Simply install the Printers Driver into the Desktop. The Ethernet Cable will work. Be sure to keep the Router to Modem Ethernet Cable connected.
