What's the .nfo file in Torrents for?

Help with rzr-skrm.iso?

  • I have Vuze to extract my bit-torrents, and it did. I now have a file folder named rzr-skrm and inside is rzr-skrm.iso and rzr-skrm.nfo and whenever I open up the .iso it tries 2 burn it 2 a disk. Idk what 2 do.... I have a Windows 7 64 bit

  • Answer:

iso files are disk image files, like a dvd. IF you burn the iso file to a dvd, and then play the dvd it will be like inserting a dvd or game disc in the computer. By the looks of it, it seems you downloaded the iso image for Sky Rim (Im guessing) what you can do is burn it to a disc and then run it through the disc like a normal game disc, or use a program like POWERISO to open the iso and extract it all to a folder, and then run the setup.exe or whatever application you are doing it for.
