How much do medical office managers make?

Who do i make a complain to about my employer?

  • so i work for one of the construction companies. The owner of the company is a good person and i have nothing against him,he just doesn't get involved too much. its the way the firm is managed by his directors. i know in the end its down to a driver if he is going to to something or not but in the difficult times we have now it is very hard for anyone to stand up to someone you work for. So. First of all. The trucks that we drive are unsafe and the fitters we've got are not really mechanically trained. One of them is a crane operator and the other is ex-driver. None of them have a clue of what they're doing the last fitter we had, left because of those two. Some of the trucks are in disgraceful state. When the truck brakes down so badly it cannot be driven, it usually takes fitter a week or two to do two days job. And they only do as much as the lorry can be pushed out of the yard and get back to work, doesn't matter if its got massive air leak or oil leak(one lorry burned down last year because of the oil leak that hasn't been fixed for 3 months) if the wheels spin it can go back to work. Drivers are being paid for 10 hours a day but they almost always work 14. It has also happened a few times that drivers were pulling double shifts and because there is not enough employers and someone gently said 'no, i'll be too tired' the common answer was 'you can do it you're young.' Employers are harassedd anmanagementnt is beinoffenciveve in many ways towards them. The company employs a few foreign drivers, when one of them refused to work for free overtime because someone else broken down, the office replied 'who the f*** do you think you are? you can **** off and come back when you learn better english, f**** idiot' they're alsoffenciveve towards english people. especially when they don't do something that they're not supposed to. 1 in 10 drivers in the company gets to be traineproperlyly, and some of them don't hold a proper qualifications. of course they have proper drivinlicenceses buthat'sts about it. every day each driver is working under pressure of the office, when hreceiveses work load for at least 16 hours and its to be done in 10. Customers are complaining and the drivers are always first to blame, but its the managers fault that they simply cannot calculate how fast can a lorry get from a to b. Company doesn't provide employees with the equipment and most of the stuff they've got is scavenged from building sites. Oh yes also some of the trucks are tachograph exempt, it may only be a rumour but we heard we're the only ones in the area with sucexemptpt and its because of bribing the inspectorthat'sts why driver can work 7 days a week 12 hours a day behind the wheel without any brake. We know for sure someone is getting paid to pass the lorries at mot and pmi. now where could i make an anonymous complain about this issues? i've got many many more but i know if i just make up a letter to local authorities it will be ignored because the guys upstairs are well deep into the environment. Sometimes they take some inspector or a council worker for a nice day out...hell one the managers even took some council woman for a date. while he was married. Also some of our roadsweepers when they pick upotentiallyly dangerous to thenvironmentnt load they will never dispose it in the proper place. building sites are being charge for it but it never reaches the disposal site. most often when its liquid enough it goes into a drain or its being tipped somewhere nobody can see(woods etc)

  • Answer:

Don't fret, there are steps you can take to report your construction company for endangering the lives of its employees as well as overworking them, thereby creating the real and present risk of sloppy work that could lead to the harm of others. The British government takes such complaints quite seriously, whomever might be on the give and take as far as corruption is concerned. The first link below confronts many of the conditions you describe. The second and third links are forms to report incidents and complaints. Your name, however, is required but may be confidential. You owe it to yourself and others to do the right thing. Good luck.
