Why does my Honda accord keep cutting out intermittently?

Should I keep my 94 Honda Accord?

• So I have a automatic 1994 Honda Accord with 114k on it. I brought it from someone pretty cheap because it needed a bit of work. As far as he told me on the idle and exhaust. So I thought, no big problem, I'll get it done. Anyway when I bought the car other problems occurred. There was a squeaking noise when I drove. Turns out a ball joint and tire rod needs to be replaced. I have a mechanic is willing to fix it for an incredibly fair price. Then the speedometer started going crazy. It would jump all over the place. Also the battery just died, but apparently it was brand new when I bought it. Now I'm feeling like this car is more than I can handle. I have the money to fix it but I'm just wondering if it's even worth fixing. My mechanic and others are saying that if I get the car fix, which as been estimated at $500 for everything, I could sell it for more or keep it because it'll be a good car. I know that Hondas are good cars as long as you keep them up but again is fixing it worth it?

  Your car at least is no that bad as mine. I own a 92' Honda Accord (stick shift) and it have a lot of problems and I don't wanna spend my money on it. These type of crabyou can sell them for 3-4K since they are gas saver. I know the economy is bad but once you fix it, something else Is going to break... I recommend to just buy a new one. Easy to say hard to do it.. My Honda have 6 more months of plates and I'm trying to sell ASAP! And looking forward to get a Nissan Altima Coupe :)
