How to stop ear bleeding after stretching it?

If your ear start bleeding while stretching, what do you do?

  • i started stretching my ears and my 2mm kept sliding out, which i read was a sign to increase the size of your taper. With this in mind i inserted my 3mm taper but when i took it out to clean my ear started bleeding. I also read that if this happens your meant to decrease the size of your taper so i went back down to a 2mm. What do i now?

  • Answer:

Wait until your ears are fully healed from the 2 mm stretch. Since your ears bled, you probably ripped them a little, which means they weren't healed all the way from your last stretch. Stay at the 2 mm for another month and then carefully try to stretch to the 3mm again. If its painful or bleeds again, wait another month. While waiting to stretch again, it's important that you clean your ears and plugs every day, and also massage them with vitamin E oil or jojoba oil, both will help your ears heal more quickly and help prevent scar tissue and will help prevent your earlobes from thinning out.
