Does anyone know about snake bites?

Need to know the smallest species of snake or a snake that grows really slow. Please can anyone help me out?

  • I already have a California king snake but I want another snake. What snake grows slow and how long does it take to grow. Or what is the smallest species of snake???????????? Thanks

  • Answer:

I'd suggest to you another Colubrid species. The smallest species of snakes are blind snakes, and they're really ugly, and I don't even think they sell them as pets. Next smallest would maybe be a Ringneck snake, but these aren't for beginners and don't really make the best pets. They can be really difficult feeders, because they can't handle too big of food. My suggestion is you get either a Corn snake or a Milk Snake. I think you may like a Pueblan Milk Snake. These are beautiful snakes. They come in several morphs, but I think the hypo is the best, the yellow is really brightened in this morph almost exactly mimicking a Coral Snake. Hypos or Apricots, too, are not that expensive from a normal. A normal, depending from where purchased, can be as cheap as 30 dollars. A hypo is typically about 60 dollars.
