What Editing Software is compatible with Sony handycam?

Video quality? Sony handycam or Canon T3i?

  • Hey! I recently made a youtube beauty channel, and I would like to improve the quality of my videos by investing on a better Camera, I would like a camcorder cause it is a lot more easy to carry and less bulky and "easy to break" than a DSLR camera, but the canon T3i has amazing video quality! I know that many beauty gurus use the Canon T3i and. love the quality, but most of them only use it to film at home and have a separate camera for vlogs and stuff... and I can't afford to have 2 cameras, so I need to choose between the 2 of them! Please help!!! Should I invest on the T3i even though it's gonna be a lot bulkier, not "vlog" friendly, but delivers great video quality? or the Handycam which is compact, weightless and has ok video quality? Both film in HD :) Please help! I want to make the right choice. ps. if you have tried any of those cameras let me know what you think please :) ps2. also as my editing software I use imovie... so I would like them to be compatible and mac friendly

    I would go with the Handycam. I have the white one and I LOVE it! It has AMAZING video quality so it would be perfect for beauty videos. It's mac friendly and very easy to use.

I recommend the Canon EOS Rebel T3i. Although it is a DSLR, it shoots 1080p HD at 30 fps and 720p at 60 fps. It also has a flip- out vari angle 3" LCD screen in addition to the viewfinder. It also has several Video modes and auto focus points for easy filming. It has the universal Hot Shoe mount for a light and an External Mic input as well. It can film on an SD card, as well as Compact Flash storage. It fits right in your price range at $800.
