Why isn't my iPod touch connected to my computer?

My ipod touch got wet and it turns on and iv already connected it to the computer but wont slide to unlock?

  • So ive already put it in rice then yesterday i charged it and it turned on and it showed the apple logo but it wont slide to unlock . my dad got me my first ipod it just wouldnt slide to unlock and he told me to blow where i charge it and worked but the second ipod the one that got wet wont plz plz help i cant get another one and both ipod touches are used. When i got them :((((

    Well, you can buy another one, or turn it off my pressing the top botton on the right for a few seconds and it will shut down. Then you press it again on the top right and then you can try to slid your finger. Or you can call apple at 1-800-275-2273.

Try restarting your iPod. (turning it off and turning it back on again after a few minutes) Do whatever it takes! Hahah

All the electronics equipments wet with water need to be shutdown and put in sunshine. The need to be open washed with non ionic solution and then blow dry. You should shut down it first and keep it in the sunshine for few hours, put it out from plastic case first if it have casing. If still doesn't work you need to open it, go to repair shop.

well looks like you've got yourself into quite a pickle! but my bff's ipod did the same thing. we popped off the top (easy if you have a mini screwdriver), and we lightly blow-dried it off. we put the top back on and wu-la it worked again. so try that. good luck.
