What wrong with my Xbox 360?

I have the newest version of xbox 360 i have the one where the on button and the disk eject button are touch capacitive so you just have to lightly tap to turn it on- The other day i was playing with my plasma globe on my desk right next to my Xbox 360 and i noticed for some weird reason whenever i touched the plasma globe my Xbox 360 would turn on with me even touching the on button and when i touched the plasma globe again the Xbox would turn itself off And now even since that day when i was playing with my plasma globe the xbox keeps making the on off noise on its own it not turning itself on its just making the noise and whenever i want to turn it on or eject a disk the touch capacitive buttons dont respond and i cant turn it on to play it Im really confused and want to fix this as soon as possible doesnt anyone know what could be happening?
