How can i start my diary?

  • So im writing my new diary but i dont know how to start it. Like could you give me some ideas for it - Like a few examples from a diary. im really stuck but want to get the first few pages sorted then i will be able to keep it up. thanks btw im 13 so yeah. winner gets 10+ points:)xxx

    I like to greet my diary first as if it was a real person. You can also give it a name if you want, so you can act like you're talking to a friend. Write about you and your views about your life. Your first entry might sound a little like an autobiography. I named my diary "Mariko." :))) Good luckies with your diary~

I usually start the first few pages with an introduction to me. You don't have to rush into talking about your day. Do something along the lines of this: My name is _ and I am _. My friends are _. My hobbies are _ . I like to _. I have _. I want to _. Etc. You could also decorate it and make it unique. Doodle on the cover or put stickers on there. Get your friends to sign it. Maybe draw yourself or your friends or pets. Make a list of your favorites and least favorites. Make it all about you. Hope I helped!

Hey You could begin it like an about me page on those social network sites. Do all the basics, but make it more personal and write things like your favourite school memory, your favourite holiday, how you spend your free time, if your life was a book, what would it be like or a movie (whatever suits you). Make it exciting because you don't have to present it all as it is. Perhaps make a timeline of your life till now? ~ JLT
