Can you read manga on a Kindle?

NOOK COLOR OR KINDLE FIRE QUESTION MANGA?

• **so basically i want to know if there is a way to avoid buying books and just find the book i want for FREE on google. ANDD for manga readers, is the nook worth it. Please keep reading, thank you :) NOTE:********* (sorry for repeating my self SO much, but the answer to this question is going to determine if im gonna spend 100-200 dollars or more for a devise. If i have to buy EVERY manga i want to read, i WILL not get it. But if i can get around it and read free manga like I do on my desktop computer, I AM going to buy the kindle OR nook.)********** okay well, I went on this BIG debate on weather i should buy the nook color or the kindle fire. after doing some research i decided to go with the nook for the SIMPLE fact i mainly want these devices for manga reading only. I am a manga fan and i just want to be-able to sit down on my bed and read manga instead of having to read manga on my desktop computer or buying books. now my question is for manga/COMIC reading only, is my decision on choosing the nook good? AND MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS OF ALL: I DO REALIZE I HAVE TO BUY EVERY SINGLE BOOK I WANNA READ ON THE NOOK (except for free books) MY QUESTION IS CAN I JUST GO ON THE INTERNET AND READ THESE MANGAS FOR FREE WITH GOOD QUALITY? I at the moment read my manga from websites through google like manga fox and such. but i get tired of sitting in a computer chair reading my manga. SO can i just get a nook and read manga through the internet? So basically i don't have to buy EVERY SINGLE manga i wanna read? and will the picture quality be good too? This question is the most important. I do have wifi, so it would be nice to just be-able to go to a "FREE MANGA READING SCANS" website so i can just read all my mangas on the nook for free. AND THIS QUESTION GOES FOR THE KINDLE TOO. CAN I READ FREE MANGA THROUGH INTERNET ON BOTH?

  I can't speak for the Kindle Fire, but I use the Kindle w/ Keyboard and 3G to read manga a lot (honestly, the Kindle w/ Keyboard is a better purchase than Kindle Fire according to a lot of people I've spoken with*). You can't connect to the internet and read it through an online reader, though (I would rather download anyway because who likes waiting for the next page to load?). The picture quality of the manga that I've read so far on the Kindle w/ Keyboard is superb (and I've read around 60 series on it so far). Download from MangaTraders (ongoing) or BakaBT (completed).** 2. Convert it with Mangle (install it; it's a program used to read manga on a Kindle). 3. Drag and drop onto the Kindle via USB. *Whatever you do, don't buy the Kindle Touch; pictures are unsupported on it. Also, the Fire has a non-laminated, very reflective LCD(?) screen which will strain your eyes unlike the Keyboard. **Don't worry about the amount of memory that the downloads take up; Mangle will compress it (e.g. a 200 MB .zip file with all the chapters of a certain manga will be compressed to less than 45 MB).
