Mac export file list from spotlight data?
-
Sadly I have lost around 640GB of data. I only really need a file list to know what i need to recover. I have several files with extensions like .indexposition, .indexarrays, store.db, etc from the spotlight folder for that drive. This theoretically should contain a list of the indexed files, with at least a file name preferably with a path too. But it is encrypted. Is there a way of pulling a file list out of my spotlight folder?

Answer:
You can use Nice to Recover Data for Mac software to recover lost files from both Mac hard drive and other portable storage devices. It can recover deleted/formatted photos, videos, music and other files from various Internal and External Mac Hard Drives, USB Flash Drives, iPod and memory cards.
