Business administration and human resource manager/ who earns more in Canada? And how easy is it to find jobs?

Which is better, Bachelor of Commerce (B.COMM) or Business Administration (BBA)?

  • I live in Canada, specifically Ontario. I'm finishing my advanced diploma in Business Administration right now at College and I am looking to transfer to a University to finish an undergrad, but I find I have a little problem. I would like to know which is better, a B.COMM or BBA? I understand B.Comm is a theoretical approach to learning the economy and BBA is more practical and hands-on. But I'm specifically looking for which is better. Let's say you're a hiring manager and there are 2 good candidates for the job (I'm being very broad on purpose, literally any business related job, be it accounting, management, finance, etc.). The decision comes down to education, each candidate has an undergraduate (in their respective major, accounting, management, etc.), one in Commerce and one in Business Administration, which do you choose? I ask this because a lot of very prestigious Universities in Ontario (Guelph, Ottawa, Carleton) offer B.Comm and no BBA, whereas business specific schools offer BBA's (Western, Laurier, UofT). This confuses me, I want the best of the 2, this is a major decision for me. Any help would be great!
