Questions that will be asked in an interview at a childcare center?

What are some possible questions I may get asked at an interview at a daycare center or preschool?

  • Also how should i respond to those questions. It's for an infant/toddler teacher

  • Answer:

Describe developmentally appropriate practice for a child of this age how do you properly change a diaper(know the steps) activities you could do with the children would you help with potty-training(depends on age) how would you alter a lesson for a child with (insert disability)? Do you like children Up to what age do you like children what are some finger-play, songs, stories for children. who's you favorite children's author Some advice be yourself and make sure they know that you can be fun and silly with the kids but serious with the parents and co-workers. I'm not going to answer them because it would take entirely to long and because each answer depends on what the center requires but that's an overview. and good luck
