Is it weird to wear Adidas f5 football/soccer cleats to softball games?

I've read that it is ok to wear football/soccer cleats to softball games and practises. But would it be weird and waste of money/shoes if I wear my Adidas f5 cleats to softball games/practises? Cause I see that usually softball cleats are usually black or dark in colour. But the Adidas f5 is very bright in colour and maybe too bright for softball. As well, softball would have more rough terrain and more sliding. Was wondering if the shoes would be able to sustain the abuse or be a waste to use in softball and be kept to use for football/soccer? Thanks!
