Best rainbow trout lure or bait?

Powerbait can't be beat,it's used on a sliding sinker rig,because it floats.You use a size 14 treble hook,then a rubber bobber stop,then the sliding sinker,then another bobber stop on the line,then at the end a loop,to attach to your snap swivel.Set the weight about a foot to eighteen inches away from the hook,depending on the bottom junk.I put a foot of line between the stops so the sinker can slide away from the hook that far before the fish feels any weight,then it's too late for them,by then they're hooked.I only use steel weights,as lead is now banned in my state.

I have caught all my trout this year on 3 different "lures". 1. HD Trout. Look it up. It's a little known company that makes a rapala-like lure that has been working great for me so far this year on several different species of fish. 2. #16 BWO. 3. #16 Parachute Adams. 2 and 3 are both flies. I've caught about the same amount of trout on the flies as the HD Trout.
