Is FIT (fashion institute of technology) hard to get into?

Fashion Design at Fashion Institute of Technology?

I'm a freshman, I'm 14 years old. Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) has always been one of my dream schools! I've always wanted to go there especially for the Fashion Design program because I want to become a fashion designer when I grow up. I always go to their websites and look at the admissions, pro-folio requirements and I'm even going to the summer live pre-college program this summer for fashion designing. I also live in New York. I want to know if it's really competitive to get in.. Is it? And I'm practicing my fashion sketches and learning how to sew. And are they any good tips into getting in? Thanks!
