Can I buy a cell phone where I pay almost nothing?
-
I have a cell phone now (Virgin mobile) and I pay ONLY $5.99 a month. I'm paying only for the text messege plan. If I make calls, it's 20 cents a minute/pay as you go (I almost never make calls). My question is: can I buy a smartphone (or any cell phone) where I pay less than $10 bucks a month and get texting included? (Agian, I will almost never use the phone for voice calls). -Also, is there any pay as you go phones that include free text messaging?

No, because all smartphones require a data package that is at least $30 a month. That doesn't even include the other charges for the phone.....you're looking at the least a $45 bill a month...minimum.
