Where got almond trees? where can we find almond trees?

Can I use Almond Paste instead of Almond Flour for Macaroons? ?

I can't seem to find almond flower anywhere. So I got the closest thing. :/ Any advise? I was thinking about using regular flour but I heard it will ruin them.

Using the paste will result in wall paper glue. Ask a local bakery if you can purchase some almond flour from them or check online. "Macarons" are made with almond flour. "Macaroons" are made with regular flour and coconut. Good luck!

No paste. You can use regular flour, but do some searching online for macaroon recipes. Macaroons get their texture from the eggwhites and almond paste will not allow that texture.

No, almond paste is NOT a substitute for almond flour. If you can get almonds, you can process them into flour at home.
