Where can I find math basic for G.E.D. prep?

What careers are out there for science and art combined with only a GED?

  • I am an art of any kind lover, keen on astronomy (hard time with math though), learns through doing and watching, A writer, as far as knowledge mine is varied ( but all in someway directed into science) from certain religious topics, organisms/ plant life, marine biology, human behavior. I have made my first mistake though, i have a GED not diploma. Any one that can help me i would greatly appreciate it. I want to try to find myself in a career that adds my love of art and science. What classes will i need? Im willing to do what needs to be done i just do not know what it is i need to do or where to start aside from enrolling in a school.

  • Answer:

You don't need a college degree to write. Most 4-year colleges and universities and all community colleges accept the GED. In some of the fields you mentioned (astronomy, marine biology), you'd need a PhD to find a job in the field. Astronomers have a major and then often a PhD in physics, which requires about a full math major as well.
