Is Laser Eye Surgery Safe?

Help with laser eye surgery?

  • Laser eye surgery is a lot off money, what I want to know though is that once you had the surgery, can your eyes over next couple off years go back to the bad vision you had or worse before when you had laser surgery? An example is that my eyes now have been for 4 years about 50% vision, once I have had laser surgery can they anytime for example 5 years later go back to 50% or worse?

    usually before you go, they will look at your record and want to see that your eyes have become pretty stable and haven't changed much in the last visit or two. Once you have your eye surgery, you still age and so will your eyes, so you might still be subject to the aging vision and need glasses to read or what have you. It would be unusual for them to go back to the way they were before as they won't operate if your eyes haven't stopped changing.

A couple questions there, how old are you? Do you have cataracts? I had laser surgery about 5 years ago, I have been living in hell ever since, big deal, so I can see down the road, I still have to fumble around for reading glasses or anything up close, my eyes change every day, I wake up with sand spurs in them, I take drops 4 times a day, I would rather have the glasses. At least I didn't fumble with them, they were always on, I could see up and down, I didn't have dry eyes, and no sand spurs every morning. I have to pry my eyes open in the morning and get them going before putting in the drops. I hate it, Never again. Don't do it, that is just my horror story, my wife had it done at the same time, she had no problem.
