Nintendo ds error 52100?

Why can't I set up Wi-Fi Connection on my Nintendo DS?

  • So I tried to set up Wi-Fi Connection on my Nintendo DS. and it asked me for my WEP key, and after a while, I found it and entered it. It was accepted, but it still wouldn't connect. SO I chose to manually set up Wi-Fi, where it asked for my IP address, subnet mask, gateway, primary DNS, and my secondary DNS, all of which I found and entered (although I couldn't find my secondary DNS, it just gave me my 'DNSs', which is plural so I assumed it was for both primary and secondary). It still won't let me connect. It says 'Error Code : 52100' and 'Unable to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Confirm connection settings and access point settings. For help, visit support.nintendo.com. What's going on?

  • Answer:

Just make sure you typed in the correct WEP key. It should work with just that so you should try restarting your DS and your internet and redoing it.

Same problem. It's probably because your WiFi is private and not public, your Nintendo ds can only connect to a public WiFi network.
