How do I block someone on MSN messenger? 2012?

I really need to block a certain someone on MSN messenger but the only options they have only let me delete them from my friends list, but I need to BLOCK them to prevent them from ever sending me messages again. I swear they make these IM programs more and more retarded by not letting you block someone during the rare odd moment when you really need to.

It's possible the people who use them are the retarded ones... ^_~ 1) Right click the name and choose "Appear offline to this person". 2) Right click the name and choose "Delete Contact". Doing the first one makes that contact never see you online again and doing number two makes it so that members can never contact you again. The block function was renamed and revamped in the new Windows Live Messenger.

Officially, Windows Live remove the block feature from the 2011 version, but doing what meow says will be the next best thing.
