I am doing a project on Wall street and other things. but the issue is i really dont understand wall street and nothing online helps me. What is wall street? whats the point? How is it supposed to keep the economy from crashing or something i just need details about what it is and its involving in the economy i dont need any details about the history thanks.

All of the stock markets, bonds from around the world, and all of the commodities from around the world , like gold, silver, and crude oil are bought and sold from millions of people every day . Their open from Monday to Friday for business .

My dad deals is a financial advisor so he deals with stuff like this... Wall Street is located in New York City (downtown area). (The street name is Wall Street since that very important location is there) It deals with stocks and so forth. For example, if someone wants to buy a certain stock, they can do it through the system of Wall Street. When you buy a stock, you either gain MORE money with it, or you LOOSE money..
