Did Audrey Hepburn make a difference to the world?

How do i make people understand that its not wrong to be lgbt? How do i make a difference in the world?

  • I want to make a difference. I want to support people who are lgbt because i am bi myself. There is this one boy in my class that i have been friends with for 8 years and now we are in 8th grade, I told him i was bi curious and he freaked out and said god didnt make us that way. I go to a christian school by the way, but i am atheist. I was very upset from that comment and the thought of how society thinks now, sickens me. I want to support lgbt people and actually make a difference. Please help me P.S. my best friend kayla, who has been my friend for 8 years is the only one who supports me. I cant start a group at school or anything like that because my school is incredibly small. Its prekindergarten-12th and has 100 students. 10 people in my class. Im 13 btw, i tried switching to a public school but it didnt work out. There are no other good public schools around my area. Thank you so much c:

You may not make a said huge difference but I am sure you can make a huge difference for a couple of peoples' lives by supporting them,by being there for them, say is there an lgbt club in your school or local community? Join it and make friends with people there, whom I bet need someone to talk to, to have someone listen and at least somewhat understand them.If not that you can always make a difference and help people whom have problems, whom are in need of help online, just by responding to their questions. As for trying to make people understand that the lgbt community isn't wrong, I am afraid there isn't much to do, specially when you go up to people whom refuse to believe such a statement, cause they personally see it as wrong, are very homophobic. It will probably just give them a better excuse to stay homophobic. Regardless, thank you so much for taking the time to do such a brave, nice thing, I bet many people will appreciate it!Take care.

If there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that you can't "make" people change bigoted opinions. I'm sorry you're in the position you're in; you're kind of stuck with the results of reactionary religious indctrination at your school until you graduate. If it's any consolation, homophobia and bullying in general can be much worse in public schools. When you reach college age, there will be plenty of room for you to express yourself more openly.

You can't. I've been trying to do it for nearly 30 years now.
