Which are 6x9 car speakers making the most bass?

Why are my car 6x9 speakers in my car not coming in clear, and have to much bass?

• so i have a jbl 7001gto amplifier (700w), with 2 10 inch jbl sub-woofers (gto1014D) with 4 ohm dual voice coil over, when i have it all hooked up, my sub-woofers work fine. my speakers however are very deep and mono sounding, and cant get any treble from them. i tried playing with the settings on my deck as well as on the amplifier, but it still sounds way to deep and mono. i took my speakers out and they are 10 ohm speakers. just wondering what the problem is, and how to fix it, thanks!

  I would suggest putting in a crossover so not as much bass go through those speakers.
