What are the pros & cons of haveing a blackberry?

    Little do people know that the biggest con about blackberry's is that they use BBM to manipulate people into buying them, and think they can simply get away with not offering enough features. They are too expensive for the inferior features they offer, compared to their competition against other android phones who have far better features and perfomance, and ultimately a far better app market. The point I'm trying to make is that blackberrys don't offer enough at all for their price tag. Androids are better and offer you far more for their price. Plus blackberry's most often have reliability issues. Blackberries certainly don't stand the competition against the mighty androids. Since Nokia has come back with their amazing Lumia range, they have even more to deal with. Plus the built quality of blackberrys isn't adequate to their price either. They are generally good, but they aren't realistic with price. Androids cover a far better range of phones and are much more realisticly priced.

i love my blackberry, i couldnt live without it. there really good, and bbm is a good way of talking to people. cost £5 a month. loads of apps to download. quite fast. sometimes bbm goes down,sometimes they crash!-.-

I've got a blackberry and I love it! I've got a Bold 9780, and I STRONGLY guarantee don't get a Curve! The vast majority of people I know with Blackberries have curves and theyre absolute rubbish. I've had my phone since May last year, and I've not found anything really bad with it. (Just a few) PROS: - Fast - Lots of useful apps (and social media) - Easy to sync - Lots of personalisation options - There are two 'convenience keys' on my model, and you can assign any application or feature to it to minimise effort, etc. CONS: - Once, my phone accidentally deleted my BBM app which was a bugger! (However, using app world I quickly restored it, and all of my contacts were still there thankfully!) - Occasionally, it will freeze (normally if you've got lots of things open, or if it's just a bit tired) - If you're on pay as you go (I'm not, but two of my friends are and they had this issue), BBM doesn't always work straight away. To resolve this though, you just take your phone to your carrier and they hook it up to their computers and do it manually - If you have like more than 30 contacts, normally you will get a lot of Broadcasts! It's not always a bad thing though, as sometime it's your contact asking a question you also need then you can ask them if theyve found out. 90% of the time though it's useless things like 'pop up!' haha Hope this helps:) xo
