How high can I possibly raise my GPA?

• Okay, so right now I'm a junior in high school. We're in the last quarter of the school year, and I have a cumulative GPA of 3.154 (91.536) based on my first semester grades of this year as well as my freshman, and sophomore. Also, our school gives out our spring semester grades to colleges for our senior year. This year I have made honor roll every single quarter except for 3rd which I will have once I make up an assignment in one class. I am taking one AP class as well. The only problem with this is that my school does not weigh our GPA. So basically our class rank isn't based on the grades received in higher level classes compared to lower. Here are my grades for my classes this past semester: Math III: 90.31 CP American History: 96.83 AP Language and Composition: 87.4 Wind Ensemble: 94.88 Human Anatomy & Physiology: 93.32 CP Chemistry: 86.81 French II: 93.8 Class Rank: 61 out of 187 So what grades do I HAVE to get this quarter and my senior year spring semester in order to raise my GPA a decent amount? It's half way through the 4th quarter and I have maintained a 100 average in my anatomy class. Will that make much of a difference if I keep it that way? Also, do you think if I took a college course over the summer, that the grade I receive for that would be calculated into my GPA as well? Should I take more courses, and get more credits? I want to do everything in my power to raise my GPA, so any ideas that you have would mean a lot. Thank you.

  To help you, we'd need to know how many credits you took to get your current GPA, how many credits each of those classes are worth, what the grading scale at your school is (what's an A, an A-, etc) and what you consider a 'decent' GPA. But in general, if you took the same number of credits every quarter and got all A's this quarter and next year, you'd have a (3.154 * 11 + 4.0 * 5) / 16 = 3.42 GPA when you graduate from high school. Lower when you apply to colleges.
