What major should I take in college to be a pharmacist?

• I'm in 11th grade and want to be a pharmacist. I'm wondering what major I should take in college to eventually become a pharmacist. I know you need a PharmD to be a Pharmacist, but I don't know what undergrad courses to take or what to major in for my bachelor's degree. What I would love is a path from college to Pharmacist, showing all the classes and courses I need to take. Also if it helps, I want to go to school in Texas.

  Your question is just a tad bit difficult to answer, because there is no one specific major that those whom wish to become a Pharmacist must take while they are an Undergraduate Student. That is actually good news. It means that you could major in Music if you wanted to and still potentially be admitted to Pharmacy School, providing you have also finished out the Prerequisite Courses while you earn that degree. The Prerequisite Courses are (of course) in Math and Science areas, along with a few Social and Behavioral Sciences.
