What are some paranormal romance/(horror) books other than these?

What are the cliches that you find in most YA paranormal romance books +BQ?

BQ--what would you want to see differently/ how would you fix it I was just searching through the YA books on Amazon and I like paranormal romance, or maybe not so romance depending on the book, but after reading the summaries every book feels the same just with different creatures or names. So i was just wondering, what cliches do you find mostly in these books and what would you want to see that was different or new within this genre? PS- I'm not looking for book recommendations or anything like that, I just was bored and thought I'd seek Yahoo Answers lol.

My biggest pet peeves: Love Triangles where the protagonist can't make up their mind. The girl loves the angsty male character Characters with one/no parents or family Mary Sues The seemingly normal girl/boy saves everyone although there's "nothing special" about them
