First time applying for a job need help?

• I'm applying for a job at a retail store, how would I answer this question Tell us about yourself and what makes you an ideal Garage candidate its my first time applying for a job

  When they ask "Tell me about yourself" - tell them your desires, passions, and how you can help them grow their company business. Reveal your strengths but if they ask for weaknesses - don't hide them (everyone has, so its no point to lie them that you are perfect). Good companies want to hire people with desire and passion at what they do. So if you are such you need to persuade them with a stable reason. If not you are probably suited for different job. If the interviewer/s is skilled he/they will want to relate with you - they could ask you for your background, something from your childhood, some other fields you are good at like sport or classes you take in free time. Then they will probe you with questions. Finally they will make sure you are the right guy for the position by telling you that you are probably not for that job. And if you really want the position you will have to object them and let them know you are the right guy. Wear good appropriate clothing. How you look speaks about yourself. Perhaps dress appropriately for the position you want to be in. If it requires a suit - wear suit. If casual does fine - wear casual on the point. hope it helps - good luck
