What's a cheap video camera for only YouTube videos?

What type of video camera do you use?

  • So I've been starting to put some videos on youtube about horseback riding. The thing is I can't find a good video camera. I tried 2 and one had bad quality while the other was blurry when taking motion shots. Also how do your make your background like a collage like this background? http://www.youtube.com/user/arablover123%E2%80%A6 So my two questions are, whats a good video camera you use And how do you make a background like the one in the web-link above? Thanks!

  • Answer:

I use Canon ZR 930, ZR 800 and ZR 500. I use those because they all are MiniDV tape (highest video Quality) and all have a MIC jack. They are SD camcorders, and I would put the video quality of these camcorders against any camcorder in the HD market costing below $3000, and I would win every time. The reason your having the issues with motion is because of the way HD camcorders, and all camcorders do it, they interpolate the video. What that means, you use a HD camcorder, shoot a video. It is a video that 1000 frames in length. Of those 1000 frames, 800 of them you did not shoot, they are scattered throughout your video, made by the electronic circuitry within the camcorder. That is why they are terrible for motion videos. My Canon camcorder does not have that issue. I clicked on your link and it is no good, page not found.
