Juwel High Lights- Day or Nature? Which is better for plant growth.?
-
So I have a Rio 125 with one "Day" light, and one "Natural" light. I have one reflector. The strange thing is, the Natural light seems to be white, and the Day one is more blue. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. I know one of these lights is good for plant growth, but the other is actually good for algae growth. Which light should I put the reflector on for optimum plant growth? At the moment it is on the white "Natural" light. Thanks very much!

Answer:
It depends in the height of the tank and the size and length of the plants. V's how much natural light they get without being an algae magnet.
