Why does the internet on my phone I no longer use.. still work?
-
I flashed a Sprint phone to cricket wireless about 1wk ago. I have the same # and everything. I tried the phone, can't make calls or send texts. But browsing the internet, I seem to have access for. Why? Did they purposely do this.. or did it have something to do with the flash and they messed up? Should I even bring it up to the company, I mean why.. its a 2nd phone and has free internet lol via cell phone that is, but its free! And its their fault not mine.

Answer:
It is probably getting internet off of Wifi. The only cost for that is through your internet service provider and many places have free Wifi. You most likely don't have 3G/4G internet though.
