How Do I Use Custom Photo?

Can I use Photoshop to replace writing on a piece paper (in a photo) with custom writing?

  • I have a photo and in the photo I am holding a piece of paper which has some writing on it (hand written.) Would it be possible to replace this writing with some new text (keeping the hand written look) while making sure it still looks 100% legit? If this is possible, how would I go about doing it? Photoshop OR similar. Any method you can think of/know of. Help/insight would be very much appreciated, and if I get a method that I can utilise I would be happy to reveal why I need this. Thanks!

    Yeah this sort of thing is pretty easy, you can erase the text using the clone stamp tool and then add a text box with some sort of hand writing looking font (perhaps download a free one from the net) to it, then orientate it and make it a little translucent to blend. Yes. What about you write out the alphabet on another piece of paper with the same lighting conditions, so you can just copy and paste from it. :) All you would have to do is select (marquee, lasso etc) the letter you wanted, copy it, and paste it on the paper you are holding in the photo. I say make a clean plate (clone all the letters on the paper you are holding in the image), and save it. Then you can custom make messages using the method I mentioned earlier. Whamo!
