Is there a vba 1.8 download for mac?

hey, I'm using VBA on the my PC and I started some games and I want to be able to play them on my mac laptop, everything works, i don't have the usual save game problems, it's just that the versions i find for mac, 1.74/1.76 doesn't work with my 1.8 save file from the PC. Anyone have a link for 1.8 mac download? or another emulator that works with the same savefiles. I don't know if all the emulators use the same save files of if the the .sav and .sgm are VBAs inventions. What I want is to continue my previous game and be able to dropbox the save file between the PC and the mac and have it playable on both platforms. Don't care how it's solved but if i could just find a 1.8 download for the mac it would be awesome!
