How do I top up a dongle for the 3 broadband?

How can I install my mobile broadband dongle on my laptop?

• I bought a PAYG T-Mobile broadband dongle (Huawei E173s-1) and I cannot see the icon or Removable Devices on "My Computer". I have an old ACER, OS Win XP. I can see the pop up message "Found New Hardware" but the Windows Wizard cannot find the driver. In the Device Manager>Other Devices, I can see the make of the key Huawei mobile with a question and exclamation mark. How can I install my mobile broadband dongle on my laptop? Thanks Sam

  Normally these self install (at least on win 7 they do). The hardware wizard may prompt a search for the drivers. They should be on the dongle, if go to my computer there should be a new CD icon, the drivers may be on there. There is also a support section on the T-mobile website http://support.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-support/index?page=support&cat=MOBILE_BROADBAND_SUPPORT HTH David
