How do I copy music onto my memory card?

How can I copy Music from my PC onto a mobile phone memory card?

  • I have a 2Gb memory card from a friends mobile phone and want to put music on it for him from my PC How can i do it as it wont let me 'drag & drop' copy cd's directly. It keeps displaying the message : 'The disk is write-protected.' Remove the write-protection or use another disk. The memory card is brand new. I have Windows 7 64bit home premium with an new Acer i3 PC. Is there not any software or an interface I can use at all? I don't think the mobile has bluetooth, it is a pretty basic Tesco cheapo.. Any help appreciated

  • Answer:

You can't put CDs directly on a memory card. You have to convert them to .wma or .mp3 files first, Windows Media Player will do this using the Rip function. Then make sure the memory card or adaptor doesn't have a protect switch on the side set to lock, format the card if needed and copy the ripped files on on it

1-First of all put the memory card in its slot 2-Browse the CD 3-Select the items ,Click on copy (not cut) [CTRL+C] 4-paste into your desktop/laptop first 5-Finally drag the files into the memory card ("Cut" or "Copy"/paste) I hope that i've answered your question.
