Is there an app better than Skype?

Cant find skype app on smart tv?

My boyfriend and i just got a samsung smart tv, one of the reasons we got it is because you are supposed to be able to skype on the tv... I was just about to figure out how to do it, but cannot even find the skype app, its not in smarthub then i looked in the app store (i read online its in the lifestyles section) but its not there either! The only thing i can think of is i did find out you need a specific tv camera to use skype... So maybe i need to plug in that camers to get to skype? but it says skype is a pre loaded app and i didnt want to spend all that money on the camera if i still wont be able to use it...help please!
